Safety is our priority!
In order to maintain a safe environment at all athletic events, the Crisp County Athletic Department has implemented the following safety measures:
1. No K-8 students will be admitted to any CCHS athletic event without a responsible parent or guardian with them. All K-8 students must sit with their parents or guardians or be in their presence during the event at all times.
2. Running, playing, roaming, disruptive behavior or congregating underneath the stadium bleachers is strictly prohibited. The blocking of any walkways is also prohibited.
3. Any student or adult who demonstrates inappropriate behaviors or refuses to comply with game regulations will be removed from the event area and face a possible ban from attending all other CCHS events for 2024-2025 school year. No refunds will be given.
4. Book bags will not be allowed at any CCHS athletic event.
5. A Clear Bag Policy is in effect for admission to any event.
6. Metal detectors may be utilized at all CCHS athletic events.
Parents,
Thank you for helping us have a wonderful beginning of school experience this year! We are very appreciative of your support and patience. On tomorrow, Friday, August 23, 2024 our Cougar’s will be traveling to Atlanta to play Lovett High School. Out of town football games require several buses in order for all of our students to compete and perform, and we are very proud of every group. With more than normal buses out of the route rotation, you can expect delays with bus routes. To avoid such delays, you may want to arrange an alternative plan. Otherwise, please remember to be patient as our bus drivers work diligently to deliver every student home safely. Thank you

We are continuing to monitor the weather. We are expecting more wind and rain, so please be careful and very cautious on the roadways. School will resume as normal tomorrow, Tuesday, August 6, 2024. As always, please continue to stay alert and keep up with safety information on the Crisp County Sheriff's Office Facebook page and our social media accounts. Thank you for your patience and flexibility.
Additionally, parents please also remember tomorrow is only day two of school, so traffic in school zones will still be quite congested. Bus routes may not be on their normal schedule until next week. Please keep this in mind when planning your day. Younger students must be received by parents/adults. When parents are not home it will cause a delay in the remainder of the route. Thank you for helping us be more efficient with getting all students home as quickly as possible while remaining safe.

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! The Crisp County School System is excited to welcome all of our students back to our campuses. Parents, please remember there will be extra traffic during the first few days of school. As in the past, traffic issues will work out as more students begin riding the bus. Please be patient, safe, and cooperative to help the first days of school go smoothly. Thank you in advance to everyone for helping us make this the best opening ever!
Hey! This is Lynn Stripling, your new School Nutrition Director. I am super excited to get this new school year started. As we have done in the past, we will be serving Watermelon to all students at all locations on the first day of school. I wanted to thank Leger and Sons for their continuous support for our students each year by donating these great watermelons. As always, we have our traditional first day of school Pizza for lunch. Looking forward to seeing you!!!
