Crisp County Schools

On Monday, 3rd grade teacher Zachary Ward was honored for his innovation and compassion for his students during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Mr. Ward was selected from hundreds of applicants across the state to take part in a documentary being filmed by Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) about teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic. On Monday, GPB brought in a filming crew to film Mr. Ward in action and get interviews with students, colleagues, friends, and family.  Unbeknownst to Mr. Ward, the Georgia Department of Education and GPB were also at Crisp County Primary to award him for his innovation and compassion.
